Country Ham Festival

Before I get to all the fun we had at the Country Ham Festival, I have to tell you about the FREEZING football game we had this morning. Yesterday's (Friday) high was 75. Today it's 62 and tomorrow we are back up to 74°. #crazyweather We had pictures at 6:50am and the game started at 8:30am.
This was at 7am. And yes, Payton's nose is bright red.
It was sad watching the cheerleaders shiver when they took the group picture.
I LOVE this pic. Payton adores her big brother.
I kinda like him too. {smile}
We *tried* to get a pic of the cheer squad. Immediately after this shot, they all dropped their poms and ran for their jackets/blankets.
Me and my Eskimo.
During the game Ry did his thing.
Payton cheered in her heavy jacket.
After the game we headed home to thaw out for a bit then headed to the Country Ham Festival while Chris was at work.
The kids made prayer rocks (they colored the rocks with sharpie markers and you put them under your pillow at bedtime).
Payton decorated a mask.
Dylan got to go zip lining.
All 3 got to go bull riding, even Ry!
There was a life flight helicopter there,
and they got to climb in and around it.
This pic cracks me up. Payton being her sassy self, Dyl just being chill and Ry copying his big bro.
Climbing in the fire truck.
Dylan is SUCH a good big brother.
Watching RC Cars race.
There was a petting zoo. Ry was petting the goat and then CRACKING up! (See bottom right pic).
Hula hooping.
Spin art - don't remind them if this, I forgot to go back and pick their art once they were dry. #whoops #momfail
Rubberband gun target practice.
Oh man. I got a GREAT pic of my little man.
The Country Ham Festival was an absolute blast . . .
and it was FREE (with the exception of food/beverages- oh and Dylan paid $1 to the vendor to shoot that Rubberband gun)! Crazy, right? And we came home with a slew of loot - toothbrushes/toothpaste from a local dentist, glow-in-the dark bracelets from an optometrist, reflective slap bracelets from a medical center, and of course candy.
We skipped the bungee bounce, the rock climbing wall, face painting stations, and some other things so hopefully next time we can do those!
P.S. The only ham I saw at the festival was 2 pigs in the petting zoo and a bacon themed food truck. Go figure!
