Week #15 {2020}

Sunday - We walked down and played in the creek.
Chris built me a planter for the back deck.
Like father like son.
More playing in the water.
Monday they came back out to check the drying and decided they needed to pull up part of the peninsula to dry under there as well (so the fans stay for a few more days - ugh!).  It's especially sad since Chris just finished remodeling this kitchen 5 months ago.
I'm so thankful that we got this patio table so I can work outside and not have to hear the fans blowing nonstop.
Wednesday - Fortunately, our stove is electric and I can still make Banana Walnut Muffins.
Thursday - The fans are gone, but this is how the kitchen looks. Fun times.
Ry made himself scrambled eggs.
Bombi has been getting good at his tricks.  He will do anything for a "tookie".

California Day #2

I headed to a conference for work.
And afterwards I went by to hug Uncle Dennis and Aunt Barbara.
On the way back I stopped for In-n-Out (protein style - yum!).
Davese took me to Lavender Morning, where she introduced me to Vietnamese Iced Coffee.  It was SOOO stinking good!
3:55pm, heading to a work party and I had forgotten how HORRIBLE the 55/91 interchange traffic is. I don't miss this part of California at all.
The work party started off at Concourse for bowling.
Then we all headed to Brewery X for dinner.
It's a cool converted warehouse that brings in different food trucks every week.  I chose Mad Dumplings and ordered the Dumpling X.
When the description said it was hot and spicy "Nashville Style", I knew I would like it.
When I headed back to my sisters, she had everyone there waiting for me!
Ali and Violet.
Aunt Kay
Chanel & Zeke
Cody & Kim and Kenzi & Ivan
I loved getting to hang out with everyone!

Week #19 {2019}

Sunday the cousins came over and hung out for a bit.
 This is a woodpecker.  I didn't realize they are so small!
 Tuesday we had Ry's end of the year ice cream party for his soccer team.
Bombi learned a new trick... it's funny that he bites his leash every time like he's carrying it.
Thursday we had a beautiful springtime rain.
On our way home from tkd we stopped by Gigi's for a bit.  And yes, that's my girl in the black belt (woot woot!).
 5:00 am Friday morning, and this is my view. I have been getting up early to get work done before I have to wake the kiddos.
 Saturday morning... like SUPER early morning, Payton and I were up and ready to go.  She got invited to go on the Middle School Honors Trip to Dollywood.
But that meant getting her to school by 5:10 am... on a Saturday!

While she was riding roller coasters with her friends, Rylan and Bombi were playing hide and seek under my bed.
 Then we went to Ry's last soccer game of the season.
 Here was his cheering section!
 Chris did an awesome job of coaching again this year.
I know Payton was bummed to miss her last game, but she was having a blast at Dollywood.
 Back home and showered up.  We made some Carob Bites.
 Any time Chris gets up, Bombi sits right in front of his spot on the couch... Almost like he's keeping it safe.
 Then, if Chris is gone too long, he rests his head on the seat.  This dog is always cracking us up.
And now I have to go pick Payton back up at 11:30 pm.... {ha!}

Week #17 {2019}

Sunday was Easter.
Monday was Ry's birthday.
Wednesday we went to lunch to celebrate my sister's birthday (today the 24th)
and my momma's birthday (on the 27th).  My momma busted out one of her birthday presents for dessert. Yummy!
Just missing Davese in this picture!
Got home to see my sweet man, fixing my car for me.  #ilovehim
Thursday I went back to The Overflowing Cup to meet a new client.
Friday - Remember last week I showed you my "Dad loves me more" cup?  Thanks to Davese we all have them.  And no worries, I LET my sisters think that he loved them more...but I know it was me.  {wink}
Saturday morning and Bombi found another cozy spot.
We had soccer games,
then went to see Gigi on her actual birthday.  Love you Momma!
Ended the week admiring the flowers that Payton and Rylan picked for me...and can you see Chris outside mowing?
Life is pretty good.
