Happy Birthday to Me!

Today is my 34th birthday.
Ouch.  I'm in my mid-thirties.
Wow.
Anyway I spent today snuggling with this sick little boy.

He got a fever {again} on Christmas morning and has been getting worse.
I took him into the doctors yesterday to see if we are missing something (since he's been sick for over a month and a half)

He's fine . . . He just got another cold.

I did get some entertainment though.

This is one of my favorite pictures.

Yes, I did have a VERY good birthday.

Saturday Sillies

I straightened my hair today and then TRIED to get a picture of it.  Here's the best one I got.  =)

Payton had pictures today at soccer.
Can you say "ca-ching, ca-ching"?
I took one with my camera instead.

Daddy was holding an open house so we stayed home and baked cookies!

I have really good helpers.  Bag openers, pourers.

And count-ers and figuring out measuring cups/spoons.
Shhh, don't tell him it's a math lesson too!

Oh - what kind of cookies did we make?
Chocolate chip cookies of course!

Then Dylan had a suggestion to add in marshmallows (or "mushmellows" as Payton calls them).
Looks good, right?

Half-way through baking . . .

Hum, not so pretty.

But once they cooled they were yummy.  They had a crunch to it, where the "mushmellows" were.

Chris and his dad carried up our big screen from the basement to Dylan's room today.
Yes, this is every eight year old's dream . . .

Lego Batman on the big screen.

The Sign is Up!

Today we went to put Chris' first sign up!  We are quite excited about his first listing here in Georgia.

Chris saw this today....

Doh!

Saturday Randoms...

I love it when Payton comes out of her room and has "dressed" herself.

At least she matches, right?  ;)
I went to work with Chris this afternoon/evening.  We first stopped by his office.  I took this picture while waiting:

Don't know if you can tell, but my preggo belly grows crooked, and to the left.  It was the same with Dylan and Payton too!  My belly button is about an inch to the left of where it should be (from my viewpoint).

Anywho - Spring is in the air.  From the Wild Daffodills, now to the Dogwood Trees blooming.  I think they are Dogwood trees, I could be wrong, but they are beautiful!
Next we went and met with a client who is listing her home for sale.  Then we met up with a family who is moving up from South Georgia and looking for a home to rent.  We showed them 4 homes.  I really do enjoy looking at homes.  Plus it was fun to have a "working date" with my hubby for a few hours!

Oh bummer - the phone number is wrong! Aahhhh!!!
It's supposed to be 678-882-2242.

ReMax & My Hubby

For those who don't know - my husband, Chris, started working for Re/Max Town & Country in the beginning of this year as a associate broker/real estate agent.
I have been busy helping him get everything set up.  We had to set up his website, his blog, start a Facebook Fan Page, start a Twitter account, update his Linked In account (you know all the things that he teased me about being on!).  He's worked on business cards, post cards, signs for the car, getting shirts embroidered, and on and on and on.  Today we received his first set of postcards.  (Sorry for the poor lighting in the pictures - but you get the idea.)
We are pretty excited for how they turned out.  We will start dropping them at homes tomorrow morning!
You can check out his website at:  http://www.christopherlewisrealty.com/
Feel free to support him in this endeavor by following him on any (or all) of these venues...

I promise you won't get flooded with junk from him as it's a concentrated effort to post on any of the social media outlets.  =)

Oh and of course, if you know anyone looking to buy, sell, rent, or lease in the North Georgia area, please have them call Chris!
