Week #6 {2020}

Sunday - While Chris worked on the car, Bombi made himself comfortable in the  drivers seat.
Payton and Rylan thought it was warm enough {69ยบ} to play with water blasters.
I guess I can't blame them though. It was beautiful.
Bombi liked it too.
Monday - I finished a GREAT book that I highly recommend.
We've been telling Dylan that he is having trouble monitoring his time spent on screens and he didn't believe us.  So I decided to get proof.
9:04am
10:05am
11:09am
12:03pm
When I showed him the time stamps of the photos he finally believed me. Then went and did something super helpful!
He cleaned our skylights.
We had a stunning sunset that evening.
Wednesday Dylan took a toaster and Eggos to school and made waffles in his English class. {His teacher is really chill!}
While I was in California, the Littles were having fun at Gigi's.
Back home Dylan and his Skills USA team (from school) went and competed at the Battle of the Build competition.

California Day #3

Woke up and headed to the airport.
In the clouds.
Back on BNA carpet.
This sweet boy met me in the airport to help with my luggage.
Back home, showered and in bed and this was my view.
{I think they actually missed me!}
Little guy was snuggled up in my lap.
I guess Bombi missed me too.
Man, I missed my {crazy} people!

California Day #2

I headed to a conference for work.
And afterwards I went by to hug Uncle Dennis and Aunt Barbara.
On the way back I stopped for In-n-Out (protein style - yum!).
Davese took me to Lavender Morning, where she introduced me to Vietnamese Iced Coffee.  It was SOOO stinking good!
3:55pm, heading to a work party and I had forgotten how HORRIBLE the 55/91 interchange traffic is. I don't miss this part of California at all.
The work party started off at Concourse for bowling.
Then we all headed to Brewery X for dinner.
It's a cool converted warehouse that brings in different food trucks every week.  I chose Mad Dumplings and ordered the Dumpling X.
When the description said it was hot and spicy "Nashville Style", I knew I would like it.
When I headed back to my sisters, she had everyone there waiting for me!
Ali and Violet.
Aunt Kay
Chanel & Zeke
Cody & Kim and Kenzi & Ivan
I loved getting to hang out with everyone!
