Week #14 {2020}

Sunday - The kiddos found worms. Country life is so good y'all.
We needed to get out of the house so we picked up food and ate in the parking lot.
Monday - Rylan and I had private taekwondo testing.
Tuesday was cloudy and beautiful.
Thursday - Ry had a Zoom call for his class and he got dressed up for it. It was so cute to see and hear all of his classmates talking.
We have been told that we needed to try Shaffer's BBQ in Summertown.  So Chris, Rylan and I drove down to check it out. Ohmigoodness it was AMAZING!
Friday - We discovered a water leak in the kitchen and a restoration company came out to start the remediation. They tore up the floor and put in fans to dry everything out.
Saturday the fans were driving me crazy so I went for a walk.  The view from the back of the property sure is pretty.
Actually the fans we're driving all of us crazy so we headed to Lowes and bought patio furniture so we could eat outside.
And of course the kids loved the boxes it all came in!

Week #10 {2020}

Sunday - Bombi wants to be on the couch so bad.

Tuesday March 3rd, we woke up to horrible news that a tornado ripped through Nashville during the night.

The pictures and stories are heart wrenching. So much has been lost...belongings, homes and the most valuable of all are the lives lost.  It's hard to grasp the extent of this tragedy that hit so close to home.

Wednesday - We had this beautiful sunrise (and then sunset). It's a new day and the news is now all about people coming together, raising funds, serving one another and loving their neighbor.  It's incredible. It's amazing to see God's love being poured out through his people.

Thursday - I love this man.  I love living life with him.

Saturday - We headed to Chattanooga for the kids tkd tournament.

Afterwards we met up with Schoening family.

We went to eat and then they took us to Cardboard Hill. The kids had such a blast!
Back home Bombi was just staring at himself in the mirror. Crazy dog!

Chattanooga TKD Tournament

We headed down to Chattanooga for the kids TKD tournament.
Dylan got gold in board breaking & silver in sparring.
Payton got gold in forms and silver for both sparring and board breaking.
Rylan got gold in sparing and bronze in board breaking.

Week #7 {2020}

Sunday - cute pup...
who loves a good blanket to curl up on.
Tuesday - I got my green belt at TKD class.
And found this cute selfie Payton took during my class.
Thursday - The Littles went to Gigi's house.
Friday was Valentine's Day and I got morning snuggles from this little guy.
We did our normal Valentines Day thing.  Chris finds new recipes, we go together to the market to get all the ingredients, then we all work together on making the meal.  Dylan made Creme Brûlée this time and it was amazing!
Saturday - Rylan wanted to take a bath and he called me in to see his beard. HA!
Then it was off to indoor soccer.  My momma came to watch too!

Week #6 {2020}

Sunday - While Chris worked on the car, Bombi made himself comfortable in the  drivers seat.
Payton and Rylan thought it was warm enough {69º} to play with water blasters.
I guess I can't blame them though. It was beautiful.
Bombi liked it too.
Monday - I finished a GREAT book that I highly recommend.
We've been telling Dylan that he is having trouble monitoring his time spent on screens and he didn't believe us.  So I decided to get proof.
9:04am
10:05am
11:09am
12:03pm
When I showed him the time stamps of the photos he finally believed me. Then went and did something super helpful!
He cleaned our skylights.
We had a stunning sunset that evening.
Wednesday Dylan took a toaster and Eggos to school and made waffles in his English class. {His teacher is really chill!}
While I was in California, the Littles were having fun at Gigi's.
Back home Dylan and his Skills USA team (from school) went and competed at the Battle of the Build competition.
