Christmas Eve {2019}

Christmas Eve started at Gigi's.  Dylan put together Papa Nutt's train set.
Then it was breakfast time.
Ry reading about the birth of Jesus.
Then it was gift/hang out time.
I so enjoyed this time with Juliette before she heads back to the Army.
We got back home and Chris and Ry tossed around the football.  It was 69ยบ and WAY too warm to be Christmas time.
We headed to the Christmas Eve service at church and caught a spectacular sunset on the way home.
Dinner time.... my family loves lasagna on Christmas Eve!
And Bombi loves his bone any day.
Cookies & milk for Santa and carrots for his reindeer!

Week #51 {2019}

Sunday after church we headed to Dickens of a Christmas in Downtown Franklin.
The blacksmith is our favorite thing to see there.
Lunch was at Franklin Mercantile. It's always fantastic.
Love this family I have been blessed with.
On the way home I finally got a pic of...
This amazing owl that's been in this area for a couple of days.
Monday we had our annual North Pole Breakfast. It's the best thing about the Elf.
Ry said "Take our picture!"
So we ended up with a small fire in our oven {ask Dylan about it sometime ๐Ÿ˜œ}. So Chris and I ended up running to Lowe's, at night, to buy an oven, which didn't fit in the Tahoe, so we had to drive it home with the back gate open...in the pouring rain. {Merry Christmas to us!}
More Rylan and Bombi snuggles.
Tuesday was storybook character day and Payton dressed up as Cindy Lu Who. I was proud of her because she created the costume all by herself (I only helped put her hair up.)
Rylan's grade had their Hall of Change Exhibit.  He had to work with 2 friends and research Ruby Bridges. They created on a display board and talking points for the parents {who were walking around the exhibit hall}. They were so cute!
Wednesday morning was beatifully foggy.
Thursday - Bombi MUST be cold.  He snuggles up with us every chance he gets.
See what I mean?
Friday - Ry had pajama day at school.
Here he is with his 2nd grade class.
Saturday - we are so excited that Juliette is in town this Christmas!
