Today was going to be a gloomy rainy day. So we all piled in the car and headed to Ethridge, TN, an Amish Town. Ry fell asleep (thankfully) and while everyone ran in to make a pit stop , I stayed in the car with him.
This is EXACLTY what I had hoped to see . . . lots of horse drawn buggies.
And cows.
Clothes out on the line to dry.
And homes selling their homemade goods.
This home had lots of canned goods.
And hand pies, homemade candies (in the coolers), peanuts, and homemade cookies.
A young Amish boy was helping us.
And because I didn't want to be rude and blatantly take a picture of him, I snapped a picture from inside the car of another boy in the yard.
