Well, it's been awhile since I finished a book. With my dad's passing, it's been hard to read. I'm not sure why...I start to read and then it just feels pointless. That may sound weird, but it's just where I am at. Hopefully I will get back into it again.
Anyway, I started this book probably 6 months ago and I finally finished it - Desperate by Sarah Mae & Sally Clarkson.
My cousin's daughter {is that my second cousin?} recommended this to me and it is a good book. I wish I would have read it when Dylan was little. I think it applies more to a new mom, with babies/toddlers at home. I'm coming out of this stage of life {wow - that's weird!}, and have different struggles and concerns, but still enjoyed reading this. As I read, there were things that I had done right {according to this book} and some things that I wish I had done differently. But we all could say that now couldn't we??? Here's a quote from the book that I really liked:
"When you are exasperated by your children, seek to love them and see the potential in them, knowing that in whomever God begins a work, He will be faithful to complete it in His time."
I give the book 4 stars!
