Almost Amish {book review}

I know I just posted a book review yesterday, which would make you think that I finished this book in 1 day - but I didn't.  I couldn't.  I don't read that fast {although I would love to}!  I usually read a couple of different types books at one time...and just happened to finish these within a day of each other!

The Amish culture has always been intriguing to me.  When we went to Etheridge, TN a couple of years ago, Chris and I talked about if we could ever live like the Amish.  We both agreed we could...for a couple of months.  {wink!}  The simplicity of life, working hard, seeing the fruits of your labor seems very rewarding.
I stumbled across this book, Almost Amish by Nancy Sleeth and I really enjoyed it.
She talked about how her family lived the typical American lifestyle and have slowly made changes to live a simpler life.  She gives rich history of the Amish culture and then points out different ways that we can make small changes to live like the Amish Almost Amish.
I give this book 4.5 stars.
