The Fringe Hours {book review}

I've read lots of great reviews about The Fringe Hours by Jessica N. Turner...  But I have to say, I wasn't a fan like other people.  The book is written for the "too busy" mom, who maybe holds a job outside the house, or just overcommits to activities.  It's all about making time for yourself, which I get - but it came across to me as a teensy tiny bit selfish.  Since the subtitle of the book is "making time for you", I guess I should expect that to be the focus... but I kept thinking that the Bible tells us to work hard, give to and serve others.
In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ - Acts 20:35
Maybe I'm way off base since I don't work outside the home.  I don't {usually} overcommit {except for Christmastime!}. I have a quiet time in the morning and I exercise M-F.  I don't feel like I "never have time for myself", so this book wasn't for me.
I give this book 2 stars!
