We got up bright and early this morning and headed to the Spring Hills Kids Marathon.
They were ready to run their mile!
But first, they did the color throw.

Then it was back to wait for Payton's race.

When I got to Payton she was in tears because her stomach had hurt the whole time. She said she kept her sunglasses on while she ran so no one could see that she was crying. {poor girl!}
That broke my heart but I was so proud that she kept on running. After a few minutes she had a smile back on her face.
P.S. It was called a marathon because the kids running clubs at school had run 25.2 miles over the past few months at and this was their last mile to complete a full marathon.
