When Payton was born we were super blessed to have a great church family who came and brought us amazing meals. Some of my favorite go to recipes have come from that time! One friend brought us No Peek Beef and we instantly loved it.
In fact I think this might be my favorite dinner . . . and it is super easy! You throw everything into a slow cooker, turn it on and that's it!
No Peek Beef
(Serves 6)
2 lbs beef stew meat
1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix
2 (4 oz) can mushrooms (or fresh would be better!)
1/2 cup red wine (or beef broth)
1/2 lb egg noodles, cooked according to directions on package
Add beef into a slow cooker (sprayed with cooking spray). Sprinkle onion soup mix over the beef. Pour mushrooms & wine all over the meat. Cover and cook on low for 8-12 hours (or high for 5-6 hours).
Serve over egg noodles.
