Canoeing

After waking up and enjoying this amazing muffin Jen bought me yesterday from MuleTown Coffee...

and snuggling with little man {who's only going to be 4 years old for a little bit longer!}.

We headed to the Duck River to go canoeing.

The water was MUCH higher than it was last time we went.

And it was a beautiful day for it.  

BTW - who's that grown man in the middle of the boys boat?  What happened to my baby boy?

The guy at Duck Canoe told us about this little inlet that we needed to check out and it was stunningly beautiful.

Last time it took us 3 hours to do the trek...this time it was only 1 hour and 45 minutes.  Amazing what a little extra water can do!

I love this guy.  Thanks babe for planning a fun family day!

Oh and on the way home we stopped off at Marcy Jo's for lunch.  Super yummy!
