We are becoming turtle rescuers... We've already stopped a few times to pick up and move a turtle that is in the road. Turtle road kill is not a pretty sight (but then again ANY road kill is not a pretty sight). Anyway - a couple of weeks ago our neighbor brought us another Box Turtle. It was walking across their driveway and they almost hit it pulling out of their garage. They thought we might like it, so now we have 2 turtles! Introducing...Doppelgänger!
Yes, that is his name. We were tossing ideas/names out there and Chris mentioned that he was Spot's doppelgänger and it just stuck. Here is a picture of Spot so you can compare for yourselves.
