Downtown Nashville {Family Fun Day}

Dylan was planning on skipping taekwondo today which meant we had no plans and didn't need to wait around for his 11:45am class to start {yes, lame class time for a SATURDAY}.
Anywho, we decided to have a Family Fun Day.  We weren't really sure what we were going to do, or where we were going to go...but we got in the car and headed out.
We ended up driving to Downtown Nashville.  The kids LOVE seeing the Batman Tower.
I love seeing the hustle and bustle of Broadway.
We decided to walk around for a little bit.
And take crazy pictures.
They finally finished the Ryman renovations and it looks really amazing!
Another view of the Batman Towers.
Ry ran ahead and up these stairs and said "Mommy, can I say "Cheese" up here?"  Sure buddy, I will gladly take your picture.
It was super hot, so we ducked into Rocket Fizz {which we just seen on Undercover Boss}
and got some fun cold sodas.
Ry was overheating {he runs hot like his daddy} and the kids didn't need to be in the sun any longer {thanks to 2 days straight at the pool}, so we headed back to the car. We drove by the LifeWay building and saw that they had scriptures all over the building.  It was pretty cool.
We stopped for a quick lunch and then on the way home the kids did this:
Even, my big boy was out.
I guess pool days and walking around downtown will do them in.
"Operation Tired Them Out" - mission complete!
