Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Cake

When we asked Dylan what kind of cake he wanted for his birthday he said "Reese's Peanut Butter Cup".  Perfect!  Sounds good.  I jumped on-line and searched for cakes and cupcakes with Reese's Peanut  Butter Cups in them... Aaannnnnddddd stumbled upon Bakerella's Peanut Butter Cup Cake.

Ummm, yeah.  Sold.  That is what we are going to make.  

Here's how ours turned out:

Looks pretty good right?  It was really easy and it came out super yummy.

  

The cake is very moist.  The frosting is not too sweet (I used semi-sweet chocolate chips) which is the perfect paring to the super sweet peanut butter cups.

 

Yum.  So go and make this right now!  And if you are celebrating a birthday there are NO calories in it!  (At least that is MY rule.)
