Week #43 {2018}

Sunday big dog, little girl.

Dylan was mowing Gigi's lawn and I looked out to see him wearing Papa Nutt's mowing hat.  It's amazing how such a little thing can trigger so many emotions. Man I miss my dad so much.

Monday was super cold.  But beautiful!

We had Family Game Night.  Rylan is SO competitive.  It's so funny to watch him play.

Tuesday Bombi was whining at FOUR THIRTY IN THE MORNING! I got up to let him out and he wouldn't go outside.  I laid down on the couch and he hopped up onto my legs and fell fast asleep.  What a booger!

This is what Dylan does while we sit in the car rider line for Rylan.

Maybe being a booger runs in the family.  Ha!

Wednesday I went to Dylan's rifle competition.  

It's amazing how quickly he has grown up!

Thursday was Payton's awards ceremony at her School.

She's adjusted to being in Middle School JUST fine.

She loves it and we are proud of her!

{Oh and those are glasses she wears just because...I love that she has her own fashion sense!}

I got to meet my friend for lunch.

And then Bombi came with Chris to pick up the kids from TKD.

Friday Not sure how Bombi is going to survive the winter here.  Hee hee hee!

Dropping P off at school.  Today was a dress up day and she dressed like a ballerina.

Soccer Saturday!

I love the way he sleeps.

That night we went to Jeannine's...

to celebrate Juliette's Birthday!

This was the first year we've been able to be with her on her special day.

And it was so fun to be together!


I love her!

Week #42 {2018}

Sunday Bombi was just chillin' with the kiddos.

And giving me kisses.

That evening I went to help serve at my momma's tea she held for the girls at her church.

The food was delicious! She always does a great job hosting these.

Driving the kiddos to school, I was able to grab my phone and capture this sunrise.  Breathtaking isn't it?

Mondays are my big work days.  You'll find me sitting here for most of the day.

I love this little girl.

His bone is never far away.

Tuesday he was showing how handsome he is.

And then curled up in a ball in front of the heater because he was cold.

So I covered him with his blanket.

Spoiled dog.  =)

Wednesday Outside our bathroom window there is a huge tree.  I looked out and saw all these turkey vultures in it.

There were about FIFTY in there!  And they really are the size of a turkey.  They are huge!

Thursday I went and had tea, this time at my sister's house.

I really wouldn't mind doing this weekly!  It's so good.

That evening we were back at tkd.

This memory showed up on Time Hop.  Rylan would ALWAYS sit on my lap while we ate.  It was awkward for me to eat this way, but I do miss it!

And look!  They are getting along!  Woo hoo!

Saturday we walked to the mailbox.

Chris found an animal hole in the back pasture.  He was digging to try to figure out what lives in there.

Bombi thought he could dig faster.

Nico helped out too. But we didn't figure out what it is.  We think it might be armadillos.

God blessed us with a gorgeous sunset to end the week.
