Last Saturday was kind of a big day for Dylan (and for us!).
Payton made this for Dylan:
It was his testing for his First Degree Level 2 {permanent} Black Belt.
Up to this point he was a First Degree Level 1 Black Belt (see the white stripe down the center?) which is a provisionary belt.
What does that mean??? He had 12 months to test into and pass the next belt, otherwise he would lose his ranking and go back to being a Level 3 Red Belt.
This is my favorite punch...a Superman Punch.
Tonight they presented him with his belt.
He's worked very hard and achieved his goal. We are so very proud of him.
