Gigi's Here

Monday morning, I dropped the kids off at school.

I needed the car that day because when they got home we headed to the airport to pick up Gigi!

The next morning was Chris' Happy Birthday!
I got him Starbucks on our way to drop him off at work.

Gigi got in a lot of snuggling with this guy because he had grown so much since she had last held him!

While walking to the bus stop, she had to take a picture of all the bikes and scooters . . .

None of them are locked up!
{In CA these would have all been stolen in 5 minutes.}
We went back to Chris' office at lunchtime

To surprise him with cookies to celebrate his b-day.

Yes, that wall is shockingly green!
~
Mom, Ry and I headed out to Leiper's Fork and had lunch at the original Puckett's.

It was yummy BBQ.
~
Once the kids were home and Chris was off of work, we headed to Chuy's for his birthday dinner.

Then it was back home for Banana Cake and presents!

Happy Birthday Babe!  We love you so much!
~
Have you had Blueberry Munchkins from Dunkin' Donuts yet?

Oh my . . . and I do NOT like donuts.
~
We (Gigi, Ry and I ) went to Martin's BBQ Joint for lunch.
It was on the show Diners Drive-Ins and Dives.

It was FAN-tastic!
Top Left:  Red-Neck Taco with Beef Brisket
Bottom Left:  That's the smoker.  Yum!
~
We walked past this awesome sign.

LOVE it!
~
Then it was back at the bus stop to get D and P.

Rylan sure had a blast.

We got back to the apartment and were hanging out.
Payton was looking out the window and started yelling "Balloon, balloon!"
This is what we saw:

As I'm taking pictures, we saw this one too!
It looked way closer in person.
You could hear it when they turned the fire on.
It was SO cool.
~
Friday the kids had off of school for Fall Break
{and yes, they already had a week off for Fall Break at their old school - lucky ducks!}
We headed to Downtown Franklin and grabbed a snack at Merridee's Bakery.
Then we had lunch at The Puffy Muffin.
It was not good.
I've heard good things about it, so we must have ordered the wrong things.
Although, Rylan did like the lemon slices there!
Payton looked so cute after her bath.
My friend Jenn gave this Chicken Dance Elmo to Dylan for his first birthday.
Both Dylan and Payton LOVED playing with it and now it is Ry's turn.
He loves it too!
=)
