Our Community Group rocks.
We meet every Sunday for potluck, fellowship and then we are going through the Crazy Love book.
Here we are tonight.

here is my resolution update:  I am on August 12th, but still plugging away!  =)

Saturday Sillies

I straightened my hair today and then TRIED to get a picture of it.  Here's the best one I got.  =)

Payton had pictures today at soccer.
Can you say "ca-ching, ca-ching"?
I took one with my camera instead.

Daddy was holding an open house so we stayed home and baked cookies!

I have really good helpers.  Bag openers, pourers.

And count-ers and figuring out measuring cups/spoons.
Shhh, don't tell him it's a math lesson too!

Oh - what kind of cookies did we make?
Chocolate chip cookies of course!

Then Dylan had a suggestion to add in marshmallows (or "mushmellows" as Payton calls them).
Looks good, right?

Half-way through baking . . .

Hum, not so pretty.

But once they cooled they were yummy.  They had a crunch to it, where the "mushmellows" were.

Chris and his dad carried up our big screen from the basement to Dylan's room today.
Yes, this is every eight year old's dream . . .

I'm sure you've seen it.  Everyone pinned it.
The Pinterest "comments" called for greek yogurt, and the recipe called for mayo -
so did half light mayo and half fat free plain yogurt.
Here's how it looked in the oven.

(Funny how it NEVER looks like the picture!)
It was pretty good.  I would give it about an 8 out of 10.
It was nice to have something that I can keep the ingredients on hand and throw together really quickly.

Sweet Dreams

Silly Boy & A Birdie

We have this blue bird that comes in the morning, lands on our window screen, stays for a few second and then flys away.  Then repeats that 5-10 times.  He's done this for a few days now.  Completely random.

Can you see him on the far right of the window?  It is the best picture I could get.  =)

Fall Break - Day #9

Today is the last day of fall break (boo!).  I love having my kiddos around.  Especially when I can get a picture like this:

Oh!  I LOVE them so much!

Five Months Old

Rylan is 5 months old today.

We found out he is ticklish . . . very ticklish.
He rolls over and over and over.  No leaving him on the bed anymore!
He sits up (for a little while, then topples over).
He "talks" a lot.
He wakes up in the morning and doesn't cry.  He just rolls to his back and plays, coos, and "talks" until I get him.
He is drooling all the time and everywhere.
He is SO interested in what his brother and sister are doing.

Fall Break - Day #8

Fall Break - Day #7

We'll call this day "rocket launcher day".  Why?  Because that is what the kids played with the most today.  Here they are with some neighbor boys launching the rocket as high as they could.  (I was nursing Rylan, which is why the picture is taken through a tree.)

Payton is getting good at writing her name!

We had some friends over tonight for dinner.  Payton and Sawyer were taking bird seed from the feeder and trying to hand feed the birds.

Then the boys got smart and instead of launching the rocket up high (in the dark) they were launching it far across the yard.  One even made it over the fence and almost to the street.

They were having a blast!

They found the moon and were singing to it.

Fall Break - Day #6

Rylan wore one of Dylan's old outfits today.  It was very trippy to see him in it.  He looks cute, don't you think? 

We went to Red Robin for lunch.

Then walked around The Avenue (outdoor shopping mall).

They have these type of statues all over the place.

We stopped at Barnes & Nobles and Payton found a Llama Llama book.

And Dylan found his friend from school, Daniel!

Fall Break - Day #5

I'm spoiled.  Seriously.  This is my hubby, scrubbing the bathtub.
It (his cleaning) was a bone of contention when we first got married (I know, stupid me), but now I love it.

Payton loves to play with her Littlest Pet Shops.

While the kids played outside, I sat and rocked Rylan on the front porch.  This was my view.

Beautiful!

Then Payton confiscated my camera.  Here are the pictures that I just discovered.

We had Del Taco for dinner tonight and Payton had it ALL over her face.  Yes, it is even in her hair.

Rylan was laughing up a storm.  Oh and this is his first time wearing jeans.  =)

We were doing Biore strips tonight and Payton was in tears that she couldn't have one.  So I put a band-aid on her and it was all smiles from that point on.

So glad God blessed our family with this guy!
