We woke up early and hit the road to Chattanooga for a taekwondo tournament.
See the kid with his forehead on the ground? That's Dylan.
Dylan won Gold in sparring {against his instructor from his studio!} and got 1st place in board breaking.
Then it was Payton's turn.
She got Bronze in forms and 2nd place in board breaking!
Ry got Bronze in sparing and 1st place in board breaking.
We sure are proud of our kiddos! They work hard and it shows.
On our way back home, there was a HUGE storm rolling through Middle Tennessee. So we decided to avoid the freeways and drive the backroads home. One of the little towns we drove through was Winchester. They have the most adorable movie theater there!
This is the storm...and yes, we drove through it.
It was pretty watching it roll in.
But once we were IN the storm, I was praying the ENTIRE time.
Thank you God we made it home safe!
