Mediterranean {Yellow} Rice {recipe}

We have been on the hunt for a GOOD yellow rice recipe to make when we eat Mediterranean food and I finally found it! Dreaming in DIY posted a Street Cart Style recipe and this fantastic recipe was hidden in the comments.  I followed the recipe EXACTLY and it was excellent.  Click {here} to see Dreaming in DIY's post, or the recipe is below...
Mediterranean {Yellow} Rice

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons Butter
1/2 teaspoon Turmeric
1/4 teaspoon Ground Cumin
1 1/2 cups Basmati Rice
2 1/2 cups Chicken Broth
Kosher Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper
Directions:
Melt the butter over medium heat in a large cast iron skillet. Add the turmeric and cumin and cook until it’s very fragrant, about 1 minute. Add in the rice and cook, stirring frequently until the rice is lightly toasted, about 3-5 minutes. Add in the chicken broth. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Turn the heat to high and bring it to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to simmer, cook for 15 minutes without disturbing. Remove from heat and allow to rest until the water is completely absorbed and the rice is tender. (apx. 15 minutes)
I served it with Easy Chicken Gyros and everyone loved it.
