Quick Snapshots & Twins

Ry man LOVES a good bowl of oatmeal.

Dylan used to call oatmeal "oompla" I wonder if Ry will too.
~
Battle of the nap time.

I had to take a picture of my victory.
All bundled up to get the kids from the bus stop.

~
I told D & P to eat their Fun Dip in the kitchen.

Ry went and wiggled his way in between them.
~
Ahhh.  Both are so handsome.

Dylan was stoked that when daddy changed out of his work clothes he came out matching him and said "We're twins!".

Usually it's the other way around.
I love these little boys . . . they are my favorite.

Thursday & Friday

Thursday my in-laws were coming up to stay for the weekend . . .
So I cleaned up the apartment and then had to take pictures of how good it looked.  =)

If you look closely in the crib, you will see Rylan.

"What's he doing?" you ask?  Oh, just some downward dogs before naptime.

Crazy guy.
~
There is a Race for the Cure coming up this Saturday by Chris' work.
I had to snap a picture of all the cases of water bottles sitting on the side of the road.

They will be sitting there for 2 more days . . . and probably NONE of them will be stolen.
{That would NEVER happen back home in California.}
~
We went to the kids Parent Teacher Conferences and Payton's teacher showed us the FUNNIEST thing ever.
She was telling us that Payton spells phonetically, really well and then showed us this picture she took of one of Payton's papers.

It says "I hear with my ears.  I can hear ______".
Payton wrote "sex".
She called Payton up and asked what she wrote and Payton replied "snakes".
She had phonetically wrote "snex" and forgot the "n".
Makes sense, now right?
And yes, she took a picture to show all of her co-workers and friends.
=)

Friday while the kids were at school and Chris was at work Craig, Sasha, Rylan and I went driving around and looking at different areas then went to Trader Joe's (about 20 minutes away from me).

I was happy to find out that it is HUGE!

It's the biggest Trader Joe's that I have ever been into . . .  Which was a good thing because it was crowded!

Seriously, can he get any more scrumptious?

~
I've seen this trick all over Pinterest, and guess what?  It really works!

Place a wooden spoon over a boiling pot of water and it won't overflow.
It looks like it might, but it doesn't.
This is going to help me out SO much.
~
Rylan LOVED J's Mac & Cheese.

Notice his knees are tucked up to his chest?

Spring Break {Part 1}

On Sunday the highlight of the kids day was getting to ride the lawnmower.
Dylan, by himself.

And The littles with Papa.

Monday while Chris was at work we played a game of Monopoly outside on the patio.
It was a beautiful day.

Payton was feeling better.

But then when we went to play Just Dance, she started feeling bad again.

For lunch Payton wanted to have a pic-a-nik outside.

Yup!  She's feeling a little bit better.

And yes, we are still in our jammies.
Hey, it's Spring Break!

Ry guy woke up from him nap and joined us.

Late that afternoon I took Payton into the doctors (her fever wasn't coming down with tylenol).
Verdict?  Sinus infection.
Groovy.

Tuesday a princess graced our presence.
She even had a footman with her.

It was another beautiful day.
And my first day wearing shorts this season!
I gave the kids sidewalk chalk and said "Don't get it on your clothes."
Well, they obeyed that one!
Next time I need to include "or skin".
My sweet baby boy!
I went to get a root canal this afternoon.  Woot woot.
Actually my friend is my dentist and she is wonderful!
I went to karate tonight and that hurt worse than the root canal!
If your local and need a dentist, call her:
Dr. Laura Ridley
She has 2 offices, one in Marietta and on in Canton.
While I was there, Chris texted me this picture.
Awwweee!

The Past Few Days

Payton and I played "salon" and I gave her a pedicure.

She kept calling me "Miss Mommy".  It was cute.

While we were doing that they big boys went mountain bike riding.

The trails look so bare in the wintertime.
Dylan did really well and rode about 5 miles!

We got to FaceTime with Gigi.

And Payton was making silly faces.

Waiting for the bus to come.

All smiles!

Ry and I were at the market and I had to use the restroom.
This is the first time I have used one of these seats.

I love this picture because he looks so scared to move.

I went to Burger King (which I never go to) and got their $ .25 iced coffee.
It was good, but I went too late in the day and ended up awake most of the night. Boo!

I laughed so hard when I saw this on Pinterest.

Sweet sleeping baby.

Here he was laughing at me while I was trying to get him to sleep.

This was my view waking up one morning.
So sweet.

And he now "dances".

A Peek Into Our Week

This past week we have had Winter Break (Part 2) and have done a lot of fun things.
Here are some (okay a lot of) pictures that I took.
I made and we ate Pink Velvet cupcakes from a mix that Gigi sent us.

And made some crafts that she sent too.

We had lots of snuggles (especially at bedtime).

And made brownies with my favorite helpers.

I took the kids to the library.
Dylan read The Tale of Despereaux this week - in 5 days actually.
Now he is reading the first of the Warriors series.

I held a sweet sleeping baby.

Here's my view.

Made Homemade Cheez-Its.
The kids played and laughed.

Ry Guy walked with his walker.

We went to a bounce house.

And had some friends join us.
Can you see Payton and Sawyer holding hands?  {too cute!}

Here's The Bounce House boys!

That pooped Payton out.  She fell asleep right when we got home.

Ry and me.

We made gingerbread cookies.

Rylan pushed that chair all around karate class.

Went to the doctors first thing in the morning.

Rylan had a double ear infection {again}.
=(

Dylan had earned a free meal at IHOP for his grades.
So we had breakfast for "Linner" (lunch/dinner).
Sweet boys.

Us girls!

Ry was there too.
Payton has the cutest butt.
I helped Chris package some marketing stuff.
SWBC Mortgage mugs with candy in it.
We went to Helen, Georgia for an afternoon.
Helen is similar to Solvang in California.
Not sure why I took a picture of the parking lot, but there you go.
Waiting to eat lunch.

Such a happy boy.
My sweet "Baby-da-girl" as daddy calls her.
Two of my 3 most favorite guys.
We walked thru some shops.

It's a Bavarian/Austrian town.
 Very cute and very pretty.
My hubby and me.
 Here's a "selfie".
Here's a picture on the way home from Helen.
It was gray, cloudy and still beautiful.
The mountains are amazing.
Trying to get this guy to sleep has been such a challenge lately.
He does everything BUT relax.
It can take some time, but I will still win!

So that was a glimpse at our week.  Now back to our regularly scheduled programming!
