Week #11 {2020}

Sunday - After church usually ends up being a yard work day and Bombi likes to supervise.
Saturday - We went to Downtown Franklin.

Aunt Kay & Davese Day 2

Att Gigi's, Payton mentioned wanting to cut her hair.  Auntie D did a quick (and adorable) chop for her!

We were going to Downtown Franklin and our first stop was Biscuit Love.

So yummy.
After some shopping, they treated the boys to Baskin Robins since shopping was really not their jam.
The girls sure loved it though!
Next up was Arrington Vineyards.
It was cloudy, but still pretty.
Back to Gigi's to hang out!

Week #51 {2019}

Sunday after church we headed to Dickens of a Christmas in Downtown Franklin.
The blacksmith is our favorite thing to see there.
Lunch was at Franklin Mercantile. It's always fantastic.
Love this family I have been blessed with.
On the way home I finally got a pic of...
This amazing owl that's been in this area for a couple of days.
Monday we had our annual North Pole Breakfast. It's the best thing about the Elf.
Ry said "Take our picture!"
So we ended up with a small fire in our oven {ask Dylan about it sometime 😜}. So Chris and I ended up running to Lowe's, at night, to buy an oven, which didn't fit in the Tahoe, so we had to drive it home with the back gate open...in the pouring rain. {Merry Christmas to us!}
More Rylan and Bombi snuggles.
Tuesday was storybook character day and Payton dressed up as Cindy Lu Who. I was proud of her because she created the costume all by herself (I only helped put her hair up.)
Rylan's grade had their Hall of Change Exhibit.  He had to work with 2 friends and research Ruby Bridges. They created on a display board and talking points for the parents {who were walking around the exhibit hall}. They were so cute!
Wednesday morning was beatifully foggy.
Thursday - Bombi MUST be cold.  He snuggles up with us every chance he gets.
See what I mean?
Friday - Ry had pajama day at school.
Here he is with his 2nd grade class.
Saturday - we are so excited that Juliette is in town this Christmas!

Week #20 {2019} Mother's Day & Summer

Sunday was Mother's Day. Rylan grabbed my hand and pulled me outside.
He had his monkey backpack packed with a picnic for me. {Awe!}
My sister Davese sent me gorgeous flowers!
And my mom brought me beautiful peonies from her yard!
We had lunch with my momma and we gave her a towel that says "There's no such thing as too much butter." Which was hilarious, because my mom {and me too} LOVES butter on everything.
My momma and me.
Monday I had someone watching me while I worked.
That evening Payton caught a sweet little bird that was injured.
Wednesday was Dylan's first day of summer and he decided to make Swedish Pancakes.
And I went to breakfast with my momma at Spring Hill Bakery.
We all met up at Payton's school for an awards ceremony.
We love our sweet girl!
The road home was beautiful tonight.
Then for some random reason, I found Dylan under Chris and my bed hiding from Bombi.  Ha!
Thursday after picking up the kids from school.  I looked back and saw them both reading books. {Don't worry, I was at a stop. That's why the car behind me looks so close.}
My summer obsession.  I could eat this all day long.
Friday was Field Day, the BEST day of elementary school.

Saturday was Yard Day {hahaha!}.  We are always burning something.
Thankfully I've got some muscle men to do all the heavy lifting.
Afterwards I relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful afternoon.
Then we headed to meet up with my cousin!
