Today Payton's school celebrated Grandparents Day. Craig and Sasha took her to school and they wanted to make sure they got some pictures for my mom and dad.
They had donuts, cookies and juice for everyone. Here is Payton at her table.
I love this picture.
Around and about her classroom.
Craig was telling us about the guy in the top left picture. His shirt has a cross on it and under it it says "This shirt is illegal in 51 countries". Wow. Thankful for freedom of religion in this country!
Payton in their reading area.
They had a great time but shockingly they said that Payton was super shy! She didn't want to take pictures. She didn't let her teacher take pictures. Even her teacher commented that she talks a lot and was shocked with how quiet she was. Too funny.

* * * * *
Payton had soccer practice tonight. We had just picked up her uniforms, so she was dressed and ready to play.
Or not. She got all shy again, came running to me, and said she didn't want to play.
This is the look that I got when I told her she needed to go join in.
{Woah - I hope this isn't a glimpse of her teenage years!}
We snuggled for a bit, and then she was ready to play. Here she goes, off and running.
Coming back for water-break!
Pep talk from Coach Chris, and Coach Justin.
Dylan even got to help out with practice. You know, since he played last year, he is an expert. =)
All sweaty from practice.
And ending in all smiles because she had a great time!
