Letter Perfect {book review}

If I had my choice, I would rather read an actual book rather than an eBook.  But I have learned that if I have an eBook on my Kindle App on my phone, I can fit in more reading throughout my day. So at any given time, I am actually in the process of reading a couple of books!
Last year I stumbled upon the Only in Gooding Series by Cathy Marie Hake and fell in love with the books.  Set in the late 1800s early 1900s in Texas, I love the innocence of that era, the chivalry, the hard work, the simplicity of life.
So while I wait for the 4th book of that series to become available at my library I found Letter Perfect on OverDrive {you can borrow eBooks through your library!} for my Kindle App!
Letter Perfect is the first book in her California Historical Series.  It's set in the same time period as the other series but is in California {which of course I am drawn too!}.
Once Ruth's mom passes away, she is sent to live with her father in California whom she's never met.  When she gets there, she discovers that her father has passed away as well. There's mystery, danger, romance, and they seek God through all of it.
I give it 5 stars!

Here's the other books I finished so far in 2016:

(4) Submerged by Dani Pettrey
(3) All is Grace by Brennan Manning
(2) Dear John by Nicholas Sparks
(1) Bridge to Haven by Francine Rivers
