Speedy

On my jog this morning, I saw what I thought was a leaf in the street but it was actually...

A BABY TURTLE!

I went home, got Dylan, Payton and a box, went back and we brought it home. He actually moved pretty quickly so Dylan named it "Speedy" (after Payton's suggestion of "Turtle"). It was then that Chris said it was a snapping turtle. So we put Speedy in a box and watched it all day. This evening Dylan and Payton let him out back into the wild. They are hoping that we find a box turtle sometime so we can keep it long term.
