Sunday was New Years Eve and it started with Rylan getting kisses from Bombi.
I hear a loud crash and came in to find Rylan laying in the middle of this:
The printer had landed on his head. Which is the same spot he's banged a trillion times.
To celebrate New Years Eve, the kids and I made Flat Cookies, except I was distracted and put in WAY too much flour and they weren't "flat" anymore {but they still tasted goo!}.
We rung in the New Year by going to bed at our regular time...we are such party animals!
Monday was the FIRST day of 2018! Woo hoo!
We got a call from the school district that due to Influenza A outbreak, they are closing school until NEXT Monday! They were supposed to go back to school Wednesday so that means 5 more days of Christmas break! Ya-hoo!
What is even better is we are having an arctic blast and we get to stay indoors.
Bombi sure does love Rylan lately.
And Rylan sure does love me!
Chris started a new New Years Day tradition this year.
He decided to make homemade cinnamon rolls.
And they were amazing!
With all the snuggling Bombi is doing, we may need to buy him a sweater. Hee hee!
Tuesday the sunrise was beautiful peaking through the trees.
And it was this guy's birthday.
Thursday the kids created a card game while I worked.
This dog has the life man!
Friday I finished a great book, Forgotten God by Francis Chan. I highly recommend it!
We went to Gigi's for lunch.
Saturday while Dylan's friend Nico, was over, we burned our Christmas Tree.
I love living in the country!
